I have a son with severe special needs. He loves dogs but is really afraid of all real ones. I decided to get him this dog as I knew it would remind him of his favorite dog, a Siberian husky named Maya. Even though he is afraid of Maya, he prays for her with his very limited words. So, we called this dog, baby Maya. Baby Maya arrived and I was really surprised to find that she comes with a lot of wonderful noises. If you put the pacifier in her mouth, she falls asleep and makes sleeping noises. When you pull the pacifier out, she barks softly and makes a lot of other noises. None of the noises are startling and are in a really light tone. Maya comes in a bag so you can carry her around. Well, he loved her and now has her in his room.
