The description says it is stainless steel but it is extremely cheaply made, very thin material and not sharp enough to mince garlic cloves. Also, there were no instructions included for fitting the handle cover. The item was $4.99 and the shipping cost was around $35.00!!! Which made this little almost-worthless kitchen gadget cost around $40.00!!! DO NOT ORDER THIS ITEM!!! Also, shipping costs too much to return to CHINA!!!

Cheaply made and broke the 1st time used it. The plastic holing the metal grid in broke and now when you go to press the garlic the grid folds inward.

This shipped and takes about a month to receive. No response when contacted seller. Later ordered Zalay , a item identical and received the next day ; works perfectly and wife is pleased.
