This is a lot of fun for kids in the art room! They enjoy the fun of spinning the arrow to see where it will land and help them to think up ideas for their art projects. There are literally hundreds of combinations…maybe thousands. I highly recommend to get and use for sketchbook prompts and idea generators in the classroom, homeschool art, or just for use with yourself or your own kids.

Instant Hit!
Our enthusiastic, budding 6 year old artist absolutely loves this art wheel. It has become a staple in the daily rotation of art supplies. We’ve started to collect a number of art wheel pages where the entire page is filled with a variety things inspired by a spin of the wheel. As she’s used it more, her interpretation of the wheel has become more imaginative and less rigid! The back of the box comes with several suggestions for different settings and it is well built. So many kid spinners these days are flimsy and you can tell with a little abuse they’ll break but this is clearly very durable – particularly the spinner itself – and I expect it will hold up. Great stuff – highly recommend this for any young children!

The Perfect Tool For Young Artists!
I got the Art Spark Wheel for my niece, and itâs honestly been a huge hit! From the moment she started using it, I could see how much fun she was having. Instead of sitting around wondering what to draw, she just spins the wheel and is off to the races with a new idea every time. Itâs such a simple concept, but it really makes art time more exciting and creative for her.The thing that really impressed me is how many different combinations it offers! Every time she uses it, she comes up with something completely different, which keeps her entertained for a long time (and gives me a little break too). Itâs not just a toy eitherâitâs actually helping her develop skills like problem-solving and critical thinking. Iâve noticed sheâs more confident in her drawing and painting now, and thatâs been awesome to see.Itâs also really versatile. This is a very creative way to Get someone engaged into an art activity. Hands-on spinner is fun and making choices for what they will do. Seems to be pleasing. I think itâs a very clever tool.

I wish I had this when I was a kid
As an aspirational, but non creative, adult arts and crafter – I appreciate this device and understand what it can do for my 6 year old. The spinner board is super thick and rigid – very durable. I honestly can’t imagine a scenario where a kid could fold or snap it. Maybe if they left it under the car tire lol. The plastic spinner spins freely, but stays on securely. The 2 spinning circles are not as thick as the main board, and I wouldn’t actually categorize them as spinning… they don’t spin as freely as the arrow. They are “movable”, basically. Although not as a rigid, the mechanism to hold them on feels very strong.The instructions and ideas are printed on the back of the board, which is ideal. You spin first to see what you will draw. Then, you can mix up the 2 circles for more randomness and spin for what color, and then what pattern. We have experienced the arrow landing on the same items a bit too much. Not sure if the calibration is off or if our tables are not level. But mixing up the circles each time will help with that.Because some of the words are above first grade reading level, an adult has to be available to read some results to her. Most items she understands, but “fingerprints”, “coral reef”, & “planets” would be a stretch for her.

Unique, creative, perfect for artists of all ages
Bought for our 6 year old grandchild, budding artist who wants to be just like her aunt. The rest of the kid’s gifts went ignored immediately as she moved the wheel, and grabbed the sketchbook to draw Purple, Mountains, using Triangles. Now her aunt wants one 🙂
