Great game for ages 10+
I ordered this for my daughter and family. With teenagers family game nights are important. This is a funny, fast-paced game. Itâs easy to box and take on vacation, camping, for sleepovers, etc. it was a hit with the kids.

It is fun
It was fun for all ages. Surprisingly, it is not as easy as it seems to name three things in 5 seconds. The game (cards) that came with it as a bonus was even more fun even if we did have to change the rules. (The ones with it didn’t work.) There weren’t enough cards but we can make some up ourselves. What a nice surprise. Well worth the money. Players ranged in age from 10-82.

5 second rule
A fun game but a lot of the questions were hard to answer Maybe 10 seconds would be better.

Fun for all the family.
I got this as a birthday present for my son and he enjoys it. It’s very simple, You get a card that has something like “name three makes of car”. You turn the timer, which is provided, and you have until the last ball reaches the bottom to give 3 answers. If you fail, play passes to the next person who cannot repeat any answers. If everyone fails, you win by default. There’s plenty of cards but there are a few specifics that would get older after a time, such as name books by a certain author or name movies with a certain actor. Of course if you don’t know any, this is pretty useless so if playing with children you may want to pull or skip those cards to make it fair. The basis of the game is so simple, you could even make up your own cards and, if playing with adults only, could make it a little more risque with the name 3…Overall, lots of fun to be had but can be predictable after you’ve been through the cards a few times.

Weird combination of topics
So, this game has the potential to be a lot of fun. I saw this one on sale for a ridiculously low price and decided to give this to my son for Christmas and we played it with a several family members. Everyone really liked the idea of this game- name 3 of (any given topic) in 5 seconds. But, topics were all over the place, as if someone had every niche edition of this game and mixed up all the cards into one game that wasn’t really appropriate for anyone. Not inappropriate, mind you, just wrong for average people. An adult was asked to name 3 Paw Patrol characters (not even the kids in the game could do this because they’re not preschoolers), a teen was asked to name 3 all inclusive resorts. There were very specific questions about sports as if this is a sports themed “5 Second Rule” game- minor league baseball teams, PAC 10 universities, football penalties…what?? There are some good ones that everyone could stand a chance at- 3 types of cars, breeds of dogs, colors in a rainbow, thanksgiving foods… the kind of topics that were in the game descriptions. It sounds easy but try doing it in 5 seconds, especially with that timer! It’s a great game (I’ve played it before) but it would have been better if the card topics were more general instead of wildly all over the place. In the end, we all got bored and switched to a different game because nobody was succeeding with any of the cards we drew. Maybe this was why it was on such a great sale. I’ve played other versions of it that were much easier to complete the challenge at least some of the time.

Good family fun game

The game is fun. Just not as fun as other games. Some questions can be odd and require specific cultural knowledge.
