    EASY BUT FUN AND DIFFERENT
I bought the big box of craft supplies by this same company. After doing the tissue art that comes inside that kit, I decided to look up a kit dedicated to tissue art so I could get more tissue art supplies (I work with people with autism). Such an easy project yet different and has a cute turn-out. Calming too. This kit comes with a bunch of squares (2″x2″ish) of tissue and a handful of images on thick cardstock. The images are basically stickers. To begin, you expose stickiness in just 1 area of the image by peeling off the paper. Then, you grab a piece of tissue, crumple it, and stick it down!I suggest exploring how much area you can cover with just one square of tissue while still appearing “full and fluffy.” In other words, you dont have to crumple up the tissue sheets into tiny balls…. uncrumple the tissue before sticking it down and you can cover more area with less tissue and it looks the same.Unfortunately, It doesn’t comes with white or black tissue paper as shown in my pic. It totally should though! I had white already, and for black I just used a marker on the white cause it was a small area. Will be buying another when I use this up!

Great Activity To Do With Your Kids
It was a great activity to do with my 4 year old grandson. We created the FISH. He had fun making little balls of tissue to stick on the sticky template. The “stick” on the template seems to be on the light side. Would be nice if it had a bit more for little hands that can’t push down with enough pressure. The tissues are 3×3 squares and in an array of vibrant colors. This is going to give us a weekly project for the next 6 weeks! I highly recommend this activity. He was interested watching the fish come to life and more than anything, we were able to talk and giggle for about 2 hours. What a great time for grandma too.

Interesting craft with minimal setup needed!
I was looking for some easy crafts to occupy the kiddos during a family vacation. This fit the bill perfectly – held the kids’ interest for an hour, with minimal supervision and setup needed! I recommend ages 4-7 on this, I feel like anything younger and pieces of paper will end up everywhere. We did have a little trouble peeling some of the pieces as well, but overall the kids could mostly do this craft themselves.Definitely recommend if you’re looking for something easy and interesting for the kiddos!

    Not for 3 year olds
I am a mom of a crafty and reasonably patient 3 year old. She loves crafting, and I thought this one would be perfect for her with something she could do.Here’s what happened: We worked on the butterfly for about 30 minutes with a movie playing in the background. During this 30 minutes, she watched the movie for probably 8 minutes, told me she wanted to sleep on me twice, and was only happy when the butterfly was done. She generally did not like having to complete a task to create the butterfly. My hands are now stained from rolling tissue paper for her to stick on, and we also received eyes that were not pre-glued so I got the fun task of locating the glue. There is also not enough tissue paper.I think a 4 year old could handle this, but I’m not impressed.

Good craft, but not enough tissue paper
Overall this is a good craft that the kids enjoyed, it just didn’t have enough tissue paper to finish all art pieces that came in the box. They were about to complete 4 out of 6. So I guess you get 2/3 of a craft when purchasing.

Great fine motor skill set, and fun activity for kids and parents.
My 2 12 year old son received this for Christmas.I love the simplicity of this set for parents to do with young children. The base for each object is a sturdy tagboard typ maretial. Each section has it own seperate peel off area so you can have the child concentrate on one area easily. This also makes it easy to stop at the moment a kids is done or gets distracted without really messing up the whole kit.It was very smart to have the kids ball up the little pieces of tissue paper and then press down. They can make such great art projects then, basically by themself with only a bit of parent guidence. The tissues are great vibrant colors and the perfect size for little hands!

    My 3yo loves it!
I got this almost a year ago for my daughter who had just turned 3. So far, we’ve completed the star and have just started on the flower. It’s not something I let her do without assistance. She often asks for it at times when I’m not able to sit down with her. She loves crumbling up the paper and pushing it into place! We use the pictures on the box to see how to do it, which helps her learn to look at and follow the “directions.” I haven’t had any trouble with the tissue not sticking well–maybe because I only reveal a little of the sticky surface at a time. I’ve also not experienced the colors bleeding at all.

Our favorite Alex craft for the littlest hands
This craft is really basic – pretty much it is just some really, really big stickers (8″ or larger I’d say) and tissue paper. You can peel off just portions of the paper on the shape at a time to reveal the sticky part. Then crumple the tissue, stick onto the shape and done! My kids ages 3 and 5 both loved crumpling the tissue, and the crafts are quick so it holds even the just-turned 3 year old’s attention, and the result is really cute! No gluey mess, mom likes that! We love the Alex craft kits, they are perfect for the winter months or rainy days.

This was bought as a gift for my daughters classmate. She was very excited about the kit and enjoyed using it very much. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition.

    Very nice!!

Lots of fun! But, they are not very sticky and won’t stick well if not done quickly.
