Wow! Such a delight!
This Axalotl family is better than expected. It’s huge, which is such a bonus. I expected it to be about half the size. It is well constructed. Great color. Each of the babies have unique little faces. I love it and feel it was worth the purchase. More important I am certain my granddaughter will flip and cherish it. The only downside is it is shipped vacuum sealed and not boxed, so you need to open, air and fluff for a day or two and then box or bag yourself for gift giving, but I understand it keeps down shipping costs for the seller. And unfortunately there is no stuffing nor wire at all to hold the mama axolotls front face fins so they flop a bit. The babies are stuffed. I’m still very happy with the purchase. I’d actually rate it a 4.5 for those reasons.

Definitely larger than expected. Very soft like a squishmallow feeling. Great quality and well made. Comes with babies on the inside that are also soft, well made, and very cute. Definitely a good purchase and worth the price.

Santa hasn’t delivered it yet
But I opened it to fluff up already and it’s quite soft and cute. I’m sure my little lady will be thrilled as an axolotl is all she’s asked for for months. Now she gets lots of them.

When you get these they’ll be packaged in a very tightly vacuum sealed bag. The babies are inside the mother behind a zipper. They’ll be wrinkly and the stuffing is lumpy at this point. 30 minutes in the dryer on low heat or air fluff with 2 wool dryer balls and they fluff right up and the wrinkles are gone. The stuffing needs worked around to get the air back between it. Couldn’t be happier with this plush!

Awful quality product which came squashed and ruined. I had good expectations for thus product as the pictures made this product look nice and the listing quoted “Exquisite workman’s ship” and “high quality matetial”, the pictures seemed to reflect this along with 5 star reviews. I am not on to write reviews but I am so shocked at this that I have came to do it after opening this item today!! The product is far from exquisite craftsmanship, all of the fabric is twisted and doesn’t doesn’t look as though the pattern has been cut correcting before sewing! The parts around the face particularly which flap around everywhere, probably due to not being stuffed at all. The entire plush for that matter is lacking stuffing! Far from exquisite! The plush was also squashed so much all the fabric is ruined and it smells absolutely repulsive. My eldest son took a look at this, asked what it was and when I said it was for his brother he laughed and said he can’t have that it’s all mangled and the fabric is ruined! A 10 year old. Awful Awful low quality product, falsely advertised as something high quality with a £45 price tag. I am actually convinced this is a cheap duplicate of what the product is supposed to be. Seller should be embarrassed..
