    Lightweight- Durable-No Mess
Summer of 2020 we visited a friend whose daughter owns a Boogie Board. Our almost-two-year-old and four-year-old were drawn to it!Fast forward to Christmas 2020: both children received a Boogie Board from Santa. They are in love! The four-year-old loves writing and coloring with us, and the two-year-old is excited to have something he can carry around the house and color on.I ordered both Boogie Boards from the Amazon Warehouse, and they arrived in excellent condition with all parts. The boards have survived being thrown and accidentally stepped on by the four year old. The “pens”are easy for my two-year-old to use and fit well in his hand. The board is lightweight and the perfect size for little laps. My husband and I have enjoyed the Boogie Boards as much as (and maybe a little more than) the children. We are looking forward to taking these on long car rides and using them to keep score on game nights.I paid about $18 for each of the Boogie Boards, and I will gladly do it again and again!

    Great for the car
I have purchased this several times for grandkids. I appreciate the idea that it provides a writing activity without the potential mess of things left in the car or writing on things. It does seem that I need to buy two at a time, one for the little one to take home and one for my house! Highly recommended!

… a small crowd of children gathered around what looked like tablets, drawing furiously
One day while walking through Barnes and Noble we saw a small crowd of children gathered around what looked like tablets, drawing furiously. Upon closer inspection we found…the Boogie Board. It’s an interesting idea. The Boogie Board is a small tablet-like device that is used primarily as a way to write, draw pictures, or otherwise serve as a writing surface without requiring a pen or paper. It may be a simple concept, but for the cost – we really enjoy it. We bought a few, and sometimes we take them out with us when we have to go somewhere that we know there might be a wait (like the doctor or sometimes out to dinner). We all take turns drawing on them or coming up with ideas and then all of us draw, and share our ideas. Our 5 year old loves them – and they are light enough and durable enough to carry around without much hassle. Not a bad little toy if you have a little one that likes to draw, or is learning to write.

    The Best!
I bought this two years ago for my 1yr old. She wasn’t quite old enough to show much interest so I tossed it in a cupboard and forgot about it but recently stumbled upon it and she is obsessed! I have other kids too so we have had a plethora of Boogie Boards, name brand and generic. All have worked fine but THIS ONE IS THE FAVORITE, by far! The colors are so fun and the writing tools are easy to hold, write with and store (my favorite part). We have managed to not lose any yet because they just slide on the sides and don’t get lost. My whole family loves to play with this thing. It’s seriously awesome! Don’t think about it. Buy it.

    Fun for everyone!
I have no idea how these boards work, but they are a lot of fun! I bought this for my toddler, not knowing exactly what to expect. These remind me of the old waxy black sheets I could get as a kid where you’d scratch off a picture, but with these you press a button and you can do it again! It’s nice that there is storage for 4 “pens” right on the board. My son loves the convenience and storage. My only complaint is that the blue color is a little bit dark and can be hard to see against the black. We’ve had many hours of enjoyment out of this, and I liked it so much we bought another more plain one keep as a memo pad in the house!

    Grandkids love it.
    Virtually indestructible

I like the concept but the texture/writing tools are useless.
Most of the texture pens aren’t aligned properly to actually give a consistent texture. For example, one of the pens is supposed to create five lines. No matter how hard I try to put the pen down gently and give even pressure, it is impossible to create the five lines. Two pen tips are supposed to give thicker lines and they most certainly do not. I often get a top line and a bottom line and varying amounts in the middle. If I can’t do it while intentionally trying, kids will never be successful. Also, something insignificant but with mentioning, the photo on the packaging shows a full ROYGBIV spectrum of colors and I only have blue, green, yellow.

We purchased this inexpensive toy for our 4 year old son as we thought it was a better alternative to the magnetic scribble pads out there. Firstly, he absolutely loves it. he is using it regularly and is enjoying drawing things a lot more than just pen on paper. He is also taking it int he car and amusing himself with it, which we prefer to the DVD player and him staring at kids cartoons. The extra bonus is we now find we can draw on it and get him to mimic what we draw, like words and numbers, which he also enjoys. Recommend this to any parent.

A mi hijo de 2 años le gusta mucho, lo malo es que los marcadores entran a presión y le tenemos que ayudar a retirarlos, de ahi todo bien.
