Nice Guided Journal
This is a nice guided journal with thoughtfully selected passages of scripture. Each day follows the same pattern of reading, contemplation, insights, summary, and prayer. The layout and spacing are nice and make the journal easy to use. It’s definitely a journal, however, not a Bible study, so if you’re hoping for teaching and instruction, this probably isn’t for you.

Excellent study – easy and inviting
This a 12-lesson deep study on Patience, with ample room for journaling. The opening line of the epigraph sums it up great: âWhat difference would it make to your faith if you could hear the Holy Spirit as he prayed for you? Romans 8:26 reminds us, âThe Holy Spirit himself intercedes for us with groaning too deep for words.ââ Iâve learned a lot through doing this study. Iâve always considered myself a very patient person⦠except when dealing with others, especially my loved ones. But this study has helped me soften my heart and helped me reexamine the way I talk to others.There are 12 sections, each with a Bible passage to read. Then there is a full page for Contemplation where you write out words or phrases from the passage that struck you the most. This part is meant for slow, detailed reading. Next is a full page for Insights where you start to consider and analyze what it says about God and a living a life of faith. Youâre encouraged to also look up the passage in any study resources you have. Third, you have six lines to summarize the Bible passage in your own words. And lastly, there is a large section for Prayer, where you can seek guidance of the Holy Spirit.Iâve enjoyed this study so much, Iâm going to buy the rest of the books on the Fruits of the Spirit, and Iâm going to get my mom the entire set for Christmas. This is just one book, but ESV also sells a set with all the Fruits of the Spirit.

I really enjoy that this little book is easy to carry and has great space to write out thoughts and observations. The paper is good to so that it doesn’t bleed through to the other side.

Wondeful read…
These lovely ‘Fruits of the Spirits’ booklets are like little gems. I see the contributions of a loving mother in the way things are said: the fruits of the Spirit being compared to homemade pie. The very ‘warming’ analogies are helpful to me, almost reassuring me that the fruits are cultivated in our lives over time, by the Holy Spirit. I love the question and answer sections. May just be useful as a group Bible study. :)My one thing I’ll say, is that, the font is very small. I’m having to use a page magnifier to read it as I have vision issues. Also, I would say it’s around 31 pages, front and back. I do feel that there is a lot of wisdom packed into the small number of pages. Altogether, I would guess there are 270 pages (front and back) if you were to buy them as a whole book. To me, each one of these booklets.

This “ESV Devotional Journal, Fruit of the Spirit: Patience” is a beautifully structured way to reflect on patience and spiritual growth. I like this one better than others I have used before because this one focuses deeply on a single spiritual theme. It provides 12 carefully selected Bible passages with thoughtful journaling prompts creating a meaningful personal reflection when completed. The combination of scripture and space to write encourages intentional meditation on how patience shapes our faith journey. I am a Therapist and this is really a product I would recommend for anyone who is feeling the need to reconnect or become grounded with themselves again. This is a great step toward living a purposeful life and remaining in the present.

This fruit of the spirit devotional book on patience is beautiful quality.It’s the perfect size book to take on the go and the font size is great!It has 12 bible passages on patience, journaling prompts, and an area for prayer.There is plenty of room on each page to write down your thoughts and prayers on each passage.This is a beautiful book.
