Would be lovely as part of a gift!
I really like this little devotional journal. I like that it has the bible readings right there for it before the questions. It’s so pretty, and the binding is nice. It’s small and lightweight as well.

Useful Reflection on Self-Control
I have enjoyed this series of books on the fruit of the Spirit. I have used other books in the series. This one is about Self-Control.There are about four pages that reflect on the topic of self-control and I really appreciated the message. There is a message about Jesus’ self-control and how we can benefit from being more Christ-like regarding self-control. After that there are twelve sections. Each section has a specific scripture and then journaling lines for contemplation, insights, summary, and prayer. It seems that two passages are from the Old Testament and the other ten are from the New Testament. It’s a useful pattern for reflecting on self-control.Overall, the booklet is a nice structure for reflecting on self-control. I wouldn’t say it’s the greatest material out there on this topic but it is good for daily devotions.

12 day journey with handy journaling and scripture
I really like this concept, which is a scripture based journaling 12-passage notebook presenting 12 different scriptures on self control next to journaling prompts. The introduction is a few pages long and prompts you to go deeper. You can see the source page I posted to see where the theological ideas are coming from (John Piper, J.I. Packer, etc.) The binding is nice and lays flat, and itâs ESV which I also like for a translation. The only critical points are: 1. Prompts every day are identical once you get into the scripture passages. 2. The price point is $7.99 which is steep for me if youâre doing a group studyâ¦.maybe they offer a bulk price? 3. There are random little rather large dots in the paper -see photos- making me think I spilled food on it, but it is IN the paper. Overall, I like the concept, but for what you get, the price point is high. You could just as easily use a plain journal with way more pages, use the same prompts and a list of passages related to each fruit of the spirit and journal on your own (without the 5-6 intro pages.) However, the advantage here is that it is literally so simple you have no excuse to get started besides time and your own energy level.

This was a blessing to go through. The content is great and is for the new Christian and the mature Christian. The construction of the journal is good as well. The paper did not bleed ink when I wrote in it. It traveled well in my backpack

Lovely
This little journal ESV Fruit of the Spirit is lovely. It is pretty to look at and nice to hold. The layout is good and makes it easy to write in. The book lays flat as well which is a very nice bonus. Hoping to learn something while using it.

Lovely journal
This is a really lovely journal with very insightful (and differing) questions each day! The quality of the journal is soft and supple. The pages do not bleed through as you write with any gel pens. Overall this is nice to have for yourself or even to give as a gift!

Love this!
This is part of a Bible study series on the Fruits of the Spirit – one book for each. There’s the Bible text for each reading, followed by questions and space to write your answers. Wonderful Bible study resource.

Useful Bible Study Tool!
This ESV Devotional Journal is a great way to isolate and study one subject at a time for deeper, personal understanding of scripture but still get a lot of rounded, applicable teaching. This journal is easy to use and has plenty of room for note taking and self reflection. The Value on this is good!
