    Grandson approved
My grandson loves the records. I wanted him to have the old school records because I had this when I grew up.

  2. LL

    FP toddler record player
A sturdy toy and plays well. Good size.

    This is too cute!
I love the colors and overall appearance of this! The sound quality is great, it’s extremely easy to use (my 3 year old is struggling a bit — but it’s only been one day). It’s not huge and doesn’t take up a lot of space, so it’s a lovely item / toy (and would be perfect as a gift for a kid of ANY age in my opinion). I love this thing. It seems very well made, and seems like it’s going to be durable. I’ll update my review as time goes on if anything negative happens. So far, I’m so happy we bought it! My 7 year old is non-verbal and he seems pretty interested in it as well, so I think it’s definitely going to create many family bonding moments.*you will need 3 AAA batteries, they are not included.*you have to wind it up to make it spin – but that’s part of the fun, in my opinion. It’s super easy to use.*there’s a hidden compartment that holds all of the records, and each record has 2 songs on it!(one on the front and one on the back)*it also has TWO volume settings (on the bottom of the machine). It gets pretty loud on the second volume setting. The first volume setting is perfect and so far – zero headaches for this momma!:) win for everyone!

    Fun gift for a two-year-old.
Good quality. She loves to stack the records more than playing the records. But with appearance help, she is able to play the records. Very fun.

Not the original, but still fun.
Doesn’t quite live up to the original FP record player. Not all of the records spin and there is no longer a working on/off switch. That said, my 3 yr old granddaughter enjoys it.

    Just Like I Remember_Fun Toy
I ordered this for my grandson. I have loved this toy since I was a kid. The quality of it is good and shipping was fast. The design of it is a bit different than the original, but you have to expect that to change through the years. I think I have more fun with the retro toys than the little ones! I’m so glad I got this. It was cheaper to buy it off Amazon, than any other store or website I looked at. Fisher Price never disappoints!

    Important note
The product is great and my grandson loves it. However, it does need batteries and I didn’t know that until I dug deep into the ad. I wish the batteries were mentioned more obviously.

    Not what I expected.
This is a cheaper version of the original toy. The on/off switch is not functional. I expected a re-creation of the original toy, which my kids loved. This is a look alike, but does not function as well.

I had this exact toy as a child and in the early 1970’s and played with it for hours. I have bought two for my grandchild to be and for my little nephew. So excited

This was a perfect Christmas gift for my little guy. My husband has a record player and a collection of records and my son loves to watch him put the record on and listen. So when I found this it was a match made!First thing, it comes with a good number is little “vinyls” (each are labelled with what song is on them and 1 has 2 sides of music) but when you put the record on and move the needle toPlay, it doesn’t play off the vinyl. It’s just like a recording in the player itself and it must push some kind of mechanism to read the little vinyl. Once you wanna play the tune the “needle” needs to be on the record and then turn the nob at the bottom and you’re good to go!Plays cute little music, my son definitely loves it.Also really impressed with the record/vinyl storage in the back, perfect as i hate when everything is scattered all over.Keeps everhthing in one place 👍🏼

Consigliato

I bought this product because as a child I was so envious of everyone who had it. I’m happy that the design is still the same, although I was surprised it needs batteries. My daughter is 1,5 and doesn’t quite understand the concept of records but she’s getting the hang of it. Right now she mostly enjoys stacking the records on top of each other and putting them in the little compartment. The “latch” for the record storing compartment seems fragile, and I remember it was often broken when I was a child. But I love this product and know we’ll enjoy it for many years. I hope my daughter will be the envy of someone as an owner!
