Great Present for Dad
I offered this present to my dad after a recent unexpected hospital stay, and as a welcome back present. He likes it because of its easy-to-read panel temperature, safety features, and clear heat indictors by colored lights. When purchasing a second one to use in his coffee station, he sought to repurchase this exact model – despite trying out other versions – because it does not turn on by itself, easily indicates when it is on, and turns off by itself after an indicated amount of time. We use it for mugs and keeping plates warm! Worth the $17-$25 price tag for these reasons.

Keeps stuff hottttt
200% love this. Iâve been using it near daily for months at work. It keeps my tea hot and ready. I donât like lukewarm. Gotta be toasty and it does!! Can hold up to 8hrs long too. Also this is a good size- can definitely hold large mugs and even bowls.

The thing that stands out for me is the push button controls on the side. I hand another brand that I liked equally as well except for the touch controls on the top. They were too easy to turn on accidentally, which I did when there was a remote control on top of it. m e l t e d… I do like the lights; they are subtle visual reminders that there is something HOT nearby.

UPDATE: Electrical short – BUT, customer service came through
UPDATE:Below is my experience with receiving this item, which worked great at first, but it was difficult reaching the company to resolve this issue. Since then, they contacted me and offered me both a refund and a new item. They quickly refunded me and tried to resolve the customer service issue. I am now satisfied with how they took care of this issue, therefore I upgrade them to 4 stars because they showed that their customer service wasn’t happy until I was made whole.FIRST ISSUE:I bought one of these coffee mug warmers and it worked perfectly. So I bought a second one. It quit working within 2 months. I did all the tech things the site suggested. No help. I even called their “customer service” number which gave a short recorded message I couldn’t understand and hung up on me. The problem is a short in the cord, NOT caused by moving it, because it stays in one place. That makes this a dangerous product. Maybe I can find one made by someone else and NEVER use THIS company, GAIATOP, again.

This little plate is so great! I love how quickly it heats with three different heat settings and timers in case I forget to shut it off. The lights are a fun addition. I don’t have to reheat my coffee in a microwave or throw it out early anymore! Love it!
