    Don’t Hesitate!
I love it! Oh my goodness… I had preciously bought a single cup coffee maker and felt like if I had family or friends come over it wouldn’t be good enough plus my husband and I are both coffee drinkers so having to make one cup and wait for another was ughhhh…Anyways, this popped up while searching for a coffee stand and boyyyyy I fell in love. I was skeptical at first seeing some of the reviews but man oh man I’m happy I trusted my gut.So easy to use after reading the manual. It has the choice to choose the strength of your coffee and the bold turned one cheap ground coffee into a nice smooth expresso.I love it. Will update if anything changes with the mechanics but for now……BUY IT!!!!

Easy to clean, Water reserve is easy to install on both pods & main pot.
We had a Keurig unit for about 2 years. It failed like may of our friends have had happen. I am impressed with the build quality of this coffee unit. It is very easy too use, no more juggling the water tank behind the unit . I really like the water for the pods system is in a different place than the main water tank and very easy to refill.

    2 broken in one year.
9/2024. Well the second one broke exactly like the first. It would seem the k-cup side has an issue with intake of water. Both started to make loud noises before the first one started dumping water out the back and stinking of burnt plastic. The second wouldn’t even dump water but lasted 8 months longer. AvoidOriginal reviw: Originally we bought the metal carafe but the keurig side broke and started pooling water under the machine and out the cord port. This is really the same machine. Below is my review for the other machine. All in all its the same except for the glass carafe and the heating element. I am enjoying those two things more. I like the glass carafe because it doesn’t pour coffee all over the counter like the metal one does. I didn’t want the heating element in the first place but I do like having the same hot coffee an hour later and it does turn itself off after I think 2 hours, I have not timed it. Otherwise the same gripes I have with the other one still stand and are below.I bought this because our costco keurig special finally died. I wanted a pot of coffee option and the keurig option and this does it. The best thing about this is the option to fill the included reusable keurig pod and the k-cup adapter. The k-cup adapter also holds a reusable k-cup which we find easier to use cause we have filters for it. The problem I have found with the included reusable keurig filter is that it overloads too easy and scrolls a large message across the screen, which is ridiculous it could be easier to read. The coffee pot and keurig side work great otherwise. The only other problem we have had is the clock and brew timer are ridiculously unlike any other clock and time you have ever set. It’s not intuitive. It is also ridiculous that you can’t program the keurig side to auto brew, should be exactly the same as the pot side. This should be an easy thing for the money spent on this. And remember if you do set auto brew for the pot side and then later go and change it to the keurig side then you need to make sure to take the step to restart the auto brew and flip it back to the pot side, not a big deal but still stupid. If both sides were programmable one at a time then sure I get why I would have to make sure to switch it back, it should reset itself if it was already on. Why not one reservoir and choose how much coffee the pot makes? The reservoir for the keurig is easy to fill but the lid falls off easy. The coffee pot side reservoir is hard to fill like every other coffee maker in existence and the water levels are impossible to see without good light and being able to see over the top of the coffee maker. I’m six foot and still cant quit make out all the steps. We have the metal coffee pot, its nice, it does hold the heat, I don’t have to worry about a pot of coffee sitting on a hot plate. The coffee pot is a pain to pour the last bits out of. There should not be a lip where there is a lip the design could be better. The coffee pot side holds the steam in pretty good but the keurig side is a steam engine. We just put out the whole thing from under the cabinets regardless, no one needs mold. Overall its a good machine so far and it better last 10 years. Buy a used/refurbished if you can save some money unless you want the extended warranty that was not offered when we tried to purchase the used one. This is why we went with the new one, otherwise I would not have minded a returned item in good condition.

    Definitely worth buying
Without naming the other brand I’m comparing this Hamilton flex brew trio. The other brand was very expensive $200+. This was $80. Other brand had a carafe that no matter how carefully you poured the coffee it spilled everywhere and made a mess. Hamilton is well designed and no mess pouring. I’ll start with the bad which is not bad but I would prefer the display to be brighter or able to adjust. In my opinion that is the only bad thing and I wouldn’t even say it’s a bad thing. It is easy to set up the clock, make coffee in the carafe or single serve. For the carafe all you do is pour the water in the carafe side for the amount of coffee you want. Ex if you want 10 cups you pour water to the 10 cup line if you want 12 cups you pour water to the 12 cup line. Put the amount of coffee to you preference in a filter and press Brew. Easy as that. Same as the single serve. I use a measuring cup with a spout for the single serve. I put the amount of water in the cup I’m using for the single serve in to the spouted measuring cup then pour it in the water side for single serve. This keeps the water from going everywhere from using the mug. Put any brand of pod (K cup or generic can be used unlike the other expensive brand). Press the single serve button and brew. You have a delicious cup of coffee. Or you can use the filtered basket that comes with the set and use your ground coffee in that. I’ve tried all three. Very easy and versatile. I was concerned after reading some of the reviews about the temperature of the coffee. The coffee is very hot with all three ways of brewing. It has a two hour shut off timer for the carafe. While the carafe is on the burner it stays very hot all two hours. Very pleased with the temperature it stays at. If I’m needing it to stay on longer than the two hours I don’t add more water but push the brew button again and it resets the timer. WARNING I do not know if this is bad for the Hamilton but I have not had any problems doing this. It is very easy to set the program timer. Just press and hold the clock button until it blinks 1900 then set the program time as preferred. You only need to do this once if you’re going to leave it at the same time every day. So if you want it to brew 5:00am set the program timer for that. Set up the coffee carafe side and press program and it’s set. You cannot set the timer program for the single serve but I couldn’t with the other brand either. Not a big deal or dealbreaker. All three brewing ways take a little bit longer to brew but not much at all. Again not a deal breaker. For all the Hamilton has to offer at a very affordable price compared to a couple minutes with the very expensive one I don’t mind. And if you set the program timer the couple minutes don’t matter. The Hamilton seems very durable and well designed. My only regret was I did not buy this long ago. But I’m glad I bought the other expensive one then this Hamilton affordable one. Proves by experience money doesn’t always buy quality. If needed I would buy this Hamilton over the other(s) any day!!!!!

This is one of the best machines I have ever owned. The temperature is just right, it is fast, it has a strength control, multiple size control and can accommodate any cup size. It can use pods, refill cups and has a quick easy to remove assembly to change from pod to filter basket in a flash. I have K-cup reuse pods that fit it perfectly so can continue using those too. All the parts disassemble easy to clean out the piercing needles and baskets with ease. The water chamber on single serve holds over a litre of water and is easy clean and fill. The other side can brew up to 12 cups if in need of a lot of coffee at one time. Pot side has a timer to set if you want it to brew and be ready for you n the morning. Only thing I wish they had added, was a reuse filter basket for the pot side, I would pay that extra, but they are easy to find to buy. This is a well thought out brew station, it comes with easy to understand instructions and took just minutes to. Set up. I have used tea, coffee grounds, pods, and every size cup to test it, each fills perfectly to size you set on single serve, even my tall travel mug fits. I simply love this machine, amazing options for the price. I think anyone that tries it will love it too.

I liked that you can name a cup or a pot.I don’t like that once a weèk you need to make the coffee grinds don’t plug up your machine 😒

  8. Kayaker

This is my second one. We broke the pot on the old one and decided to get a new brewer because of the age of the other one. They’re great machines and we like the option of brewing a single cup when the craving hits.I highly recommend it.
