Smaller than standard kids’ 100 piece puzzles
I ordered this 100 piece construction vehicle puzzle for my 4 year-old grandson’s birthday last week. The on-line description says ages 4-8. The box says ages 5-10. After it was delivered, I went back on-line and saw that the size was listed as 15 inches by 10 inches. I did not catch this when I ordered. Normally I buy puzzles based on the number of pieces and didn’t realize that 100 piece kids’ puzzles were not a standard size. The one we bought him for Christmas was 14×19 inches. My grandson loves puzzles and had done 100 piece puzzles on his own as a 3 year old. I was worried that the smaller pieces would be too challenging for a new 4 year-old’s manual dexterity. He needed help but did ok with it. He absolutely loves the image on the puzzle. The colors are nice and bright and there are multiple types of construction vehicles. This puzzle could be challenging for many 4 year-olds. It’s probably more appropriate for 5 and up unless your child has good manual dexterity.

My 4 year old Grandson had no problem putting this together. Would have kept it to do over again, but it was missing a piece.
