I purchased these to help my granddaughter with correcting the way in which she holds her pencils. Iâd also bought her the toddler pencils that kind of look like triangles that worked as well. The thing was is she didnât want to take the toddler pencils to school. With these little rubber silicone device, she just put them on her regular school pencils and everybody in school wanted one. So I went back and purchased some more for her friends. I received a note from her teacher stating that it was a noticeable improvement with the kids writing and he asked me where I had purchased them. The silicone is soft and easy to put on their colorful pencils that of course little girls like to use. The grip holds nicely and does not slide around once in place and definitely every scent. I expect you to pay much more and get less and it was quite the opposite great value for my money. These are definitely going into my stocking stuffers this year , my older granddaughter who is in college absolutely loved it and asked if she could take one. She had issues with proper finger placement and she loves how soft it makes her hold her pencil.

Left handers beware
Its a cool gadget! But it’s not for lefties! The thumb hole is bigger than the index hole so when you switch hands the sizing is off. Go for it if your little one is a rightie!

This is the perfect product for children to learn how to hold their pencils when they write. Children often scrunch up their fingers trying to learn to hold a pencil. This is an inexpensive little device that helps them to position their fingers perfectly. I bought some to see how they would work for my two year old grandson. I showed him how to put his fingers in the little pockets on top and where his thumb went underneath. Once he did that, I guided his hand first to show him that he could write this way. After that, he felt very comfortable trying to write with a pencil.

Donât walk! Run and get you one for your toddler
Mommy of two toddlers here! My son just turned 3yr old in December. Lately Heâs been really into reading and writing and I got him this pencil gripper along with a tracing/writing book I got from Amazon! This item arrived 2 days ago and he has been using it just for 2 days. I kid you not, I saw my 3year old holding his pencil WITHOUT the gripper and he had the pencil in his hand in the correct position and was tracing the letters in the book very well (well enoughfor a three year old). He never knew how to hold a pen or pencil properly (he used to use all his fingers) This gripper is helping him so much in such a short time. I canât imagine how well heâll be writing by the time turns 4yrs old.
