Bought this set on flash sale for my 7 year old son. He’s only recently started using Legos. After doing a few smaller sets he said he wanted more practice and to try building more stuff from his imagination.He loves the little booklet with builds that came with the set as well as the quantity of pieces and color variety. I love that it came in a storage bin so he has somewhere to keep them instead of the floor

Green platforms
It was really great! We have enjoyed it so far and have been able to build things. The only downside is the green platform. The green platform is the smallest thing I have ever seen before and I cant build a whole house on it so, it’s not that great. Either way I still give this a 5 star rating!

Good Variety of Blocks to Inspire Creativity
Love this Lego set! It comes with a book for build ideas and also so many options for free-building from your imagination with the variety in this box. My three kiddos ages 6 to 8 will sit and build for 30 to 45 minutes at a time and love showing one another what they created. It is fun for my husband and I to build with them as well. âºï¸

Lego bricks – what’s not to love?
Standard box of Lego bricks. Decent variety of shapes and sizes. I’m not such a fan of all the different colors; I would prefer sticking to just a few colors and providing more bricks of those colors. But that’s my preference and I understand why Lego expanded the color choices. Otherwise the set includes enough bricks to spark creativity for kids and should keep them occupied for an hour at a time. It certainly did for my kids.
