I love it when LEGO uses technic pieces in their builds, and this is a great example of a fantastic design. Got it for Christmas for my partner, and he was blown away by the simpler ones (the fish and the red panda). He hasn’t had a chance to build the tiger yet, but based on the other designs, I know it will be great!

This was the first Lego set I bought after receiving a TMNT one for my birthday and realizing how much I enjoy the process of building. I love that this set offers the option to create three different animals, but honestly, I canât see myself ever taking apart the tigerâitâs just that impressive. The detail is pretty explicit, if you know what I mean. IYKYK.

This model has a high level of detail. All three models are well-designed, but the tiger is excellent, including internal anatomy, highly positionable body parts, and – as real cats like to show us so often, a little pink circle under the tail . I am fairly critical of the direction Lego has taken in recent years , catering to the “man-child with money” and offering little more than dumbed-down franchise garbage for kids: “Look! A scene from a recent movie with three character minifigs! 400 pieces. Give us $120.”) Most models drastically overpriced. But this set is a fun build, nice to keep, nice to piece out, and pretty good value for the money. The variety of unique small pieces, connectors, finishing parts is great and would provide a lot of good re-use value for creative “non-blocky” builds.
