Perfect for Meal Prep – Even Better as a Tovala Upgrade!
These M MCIRCO 22 oz glass containers have completely changed how I prep and store meals at home. I originally bought them just for standard meal prep, but I discovered an unexpected bonus: they work perfectly as a reusable replacement for the Tovala meal trays.I like using the Tovala oven but prefer prepping my own meals rather than relying solely on prepackaged kits. These containers fit nicely in the Tovala, and because they’re oven-safe (minus the lid, of course), I can portion out meals in advance and simply pop them in to cook when ready. It gives me the convenience of Tovala meals with the control and savings of home cooking.Beyond that, these containers are just extremely easy to use. The snap-lock lids seal tight with no leaks, and they’re microwave- and dishwasher-safe, which makes cleanup a breeze. They stack neatly in the fridge or cabinets, saving space and keeping things organized.The borosilicate glass is sturdy and hasn’t stained or cracked, even with heavy use. Easy to open
I like these because of the hinged top. My hands have arthritis and the tops that require elbow grease to use them hurt my hands. I wish they were better at fitting on top of each other but I guess when it comes from China you can’t be too picky.

Great but 2 minor cautions
This is my second purchase of 10 MCIRCO 22oz glass containers, so obviously I like them. I’m dropping to a “4” on my review for 2 reasons: (1) MCIRCO’s Amazon website and their own prominently display that the containers are dishwasher safe and caution buyers that contain lids shouldn’t go in the microwave. However, there is nothing about whether lids can go into a dishwasher – a big omission in my view. I emailed MCIRCO customer service and got a reply in less than 48 hours. OUTSTANDING. Here’s the thing. The lids are NOT dishwasher safe unless you’ve set the dishwasher to no heat. Makes sense but how about letting the consumer know?(2) The ‘flaps’ that lock the lid on to the glass container are very floppy, making it slightly tricky sometimes to get them out of the way so you can get the lid aligned. Having had my other set for a long time now, that small inconvenience turns out to be an asset. Because of how loose the flaps are, I am completely confident that they will not break off as can happen with containers that have all plastic flaps. Remember that when it takes an extra few seconds the get the lid appropriately placed and secured.

Finally got rid of all my plastic containers and I am using these beautiful glass ones. They go from the freezer to the oven which is very convenient and they stack up well.
