Vintage flare & super comfy
When I saw the Rickrack trim on this Baby Girl’s 2-Piece Ruffle Top and Short Set from Modern Moments by Gerber, I knew that I had to have it for my granddaughter. The trim is so nostalgic and appealing, along with the smocking and the ruffled flounce at the neckline, this outfit is aiming to be adorbs- mission accomplished!This outfit is made from 100% cotton, which appears to be a jersey fabric and has a bit of stretch to it. The fabric is very soft and breathable, and I also like that it has just a bit of thickness to it so it doesn’t feel thin or cheap. I also love the texture of the fabric, it is a solid rose color but has some interesting horizontal striations in it which give it more depth and texture. The top has spaghetti straps and a button at the back neckline for ease in getting the top on and off. Really the only thing I would change is to give the shoulder straps more elasticity, which would make it easier to get a good fit. I also like that the elastic waistband on the shorts has a good deal of stretch, which will help keep our little girl comfortable.As is usually the case with this brand, the construction and sewing on this outfit is exemplary. There is double stitching at almost all of the seams, the Rickrack sewn underneath the flounce is flawless, and I like how the fabric has been gathered for a smocked look on the top.All said and done this charming girl’s outfit is everything I hoped it would be, and I cannot wait to get our granddaughter into it. Currently this two-piece set is selling at $16.99, and I think that’s a deal for how nicely made and super cute it looks. I just love this brand!

Cute outfit
This is a cute little two piece outfit. consists of a flare shirt with straps for sleeves and a pair of shorts. They are soft, made of a cottony like material but we haven’t had any shrinkage after washing. It is like a blush pink color with light pink little flowers all over it. The shirt has pleats for decoration giving it a more dressy feel. The shirt also has a button on the back that you can undo to easily put on and remove it. It fit fairly well. We generally size up so that she can grow into things but this was only a little baggy on her, it should be fitting perfect by summertime! Overall it is a cute outfit.

Sweet Vintage Summer Outfit
This outfit is so precious! I love that they chose to make this set in larger sizes and not stop at, say, 2T. I love that I can dress my pre-k daughter in this vintage, sweet outfit for play this summer. This will be great as it heats up, staying away from the skin to stay cool. The fabric is good quality with nice stitching. The shorts are a nice length, not shorty-shorts. My daughter is tall with long legs, so I really appreciate these cover her.

This little set looks adorable on our daughter and is perfect for warmer weather. The top has a nice loose fit and the shorts stay put. My only gripe is that the material wrinkles kind of easily. Still, itâs an easy win for daycare and weekend outings.

Really, really cute. 100% cotton!
Dang, this is a really cute toddler outfit. The 5T sizing seems about right compared to our toddler’s other clothes. The cotton fabric feels soft and seems durable. We have a few Gerber Modern Moments sets, and they’ve all held up really well in the wash. I expect these to last long enough to become hand-me-downs for the next kid.The pricing is on the higher end for kid’s clothes, but it’s reasonable considering the 100% cotton fabric and really cute and stylish design.
