    Nice Book
This is a nice workbook to provoke positive thinking. It has a lot of reading and a lot of interactive activities.

    Good book, I quite enjoy
Nice book. I am all about positivity and self talk and this encourages that kind of thinking. I think it is well made and a good value. You don’t need a book for this you can do it yourself but sometimes having someone give you prompts and guidance takes the brain work out of it after a long taxing day.

A good book for self improvement
It’s a good book. Gives a good understanding on why I feel or felt certain ways, and ways to have a better positive outlook and being. I like the stories of other people that have struggled in ways like myself, it makes me feel like I’m not alone. I’d recommend this book. Well laid out, I go back to it a lot.

    Maybe???
My first worry when I ordered this book that when it arrived I would look at it for one minute and toss it aside, with something like the word “hokey” on my lips. But I didn’t do that. Instead I opened the book and read the first part of the book, about what positivity is and isn’t, and thought to myself hmmm, this doesn’t make my stomach feel sick.It wasn’t treacly or sentimental, just factual and smart without being overly intellectual. So it hit just the right tone for someone not wanting to bathe in a tub of self-indulgent saccharine. I felt like the artwork on the pages gave me a nice break from the information being presented. It’s clean, pretty, but not too cutesy, like the artwork on the cover. Perfect. So finally, after having the book now for several days, I got up enough courage to look at some of the exercises.I mean, maybe it’s hard to be positive and think in positive ways about yourself when you’re not used to that. But now I have to write it down? Actual words on paper? So I did start to feel a bit like I should gag, even just a little. Or at the very least roll my eyes in protest. But then I remembered, I wanted the book. I invited it into my life. So I’m going to try to do the exercises. It might have to be in pencil or disappearing ink, but if I can manage to make any marks at all it will be a step forward for me. And if I can’t do that I’ll at least try to read all of the prompts and answer them in my head. Because it felt like from the first part of the book that the writer had a handle on what she was talking about and said things in a way that felt true to me. So I feel like maybe I should give the rest of her book a shot as well.

Helpful guide to shifting your mindset
Most people who know me would say I’m a fairly positive, empathetic person and would be surprised I felt I might benefit from a workbook like this. However, I’m very good about being positive and compassionate and empathetic for others, but not so much myself. For me, the value of this Positive Thinking Workbook for Women: Invite More Self-Love, Self-Care, and Self-Confidence into Your Life is not that the exercises are never before seen or that it has revolutionary concepts. For me, this workbook provides gentle motivation and opportunities to apply all that empathy and positivity toward myself without making it feel too awkward (all growth feels a little, or a lot, awkward). I’m not all the way through yet, but I am noticing that my inner voice toward myself is starting to align a bit more with my outer voice that I direct at others.

    Easy to follow
The book is cute and positive. I didn’t see it as a true workbook though.

Very relaxing, helps me understand myself
I really enjoyed reading this book! I’m a stay at home mom and life can be stressful and depressing sometimes. It was awesome to read it every evening sitting on a cozy sofa with a cup of tea after I put kids to sleep. It made me feel grateful for what I have and helped me understand my feelings better. Plus it’s not boring at all and very fun and easy to read. Highly recommend to anyone!

  8. Customer Review

    Workbook
Easy to understand and leaves you space to fill in the answers, great book to use for yourself or even give as a gift.
