A Great Starting Point/Supplemental Material for homeschool
I purchased this product to see if it would integrate into our homeschool routine and I am quite pleased with it. I bought the K level for my 6 yo thinking that if it was not challenging enough I could always go a different direction. After working in it for several weeks I have to say we are both still very pleased with it. It is right on point for a K level student, however I went with K simply because when I looked at the level 1 I was afraid it might be a bit too steep of a dive without some review. It is working out wonderfully. I will add that I have been/am looking at integrating the Writing workbook into our routine soon, however I am in no rush because even though this book is Reading it does have a sufficient amount of writing in it. I cannot speak for all parents but I feel the amount of writing that is in this particular book is plenty for that of a K or even level 1 pupil. I do highly recommend these workbooks. Another great application would be for Summer review. The lessons are short and direct so there can be as much or as little time commitment as you and your student like.

Much easier
I was having trouble with getting my 5 year old to learn to read/right. This has helped. Still not perfect, but itâs helpful!

More like Preschool
I have found that my kindergartener is board with the material. I think the instructions can be vague on some of the pages. I think the content works better with a preschooler verses a kindergartener.

Cute stories
I like the cute stories. The price seemed to have gone up though. A bit easy for kindergarten.

A good guide but certainly not a stand alone teaching tool.
