Perfect for expanding knowledge during summer break
With the end of the school year arriving, I knew I wanted to get something for my oldest (who is nearly 5) to continue expanding his mind and putting his new knowledge and learned skills to use throughout the summer. A friend had previously shared summer bridge books via Facebook. I am so glad we purchased! We are now on day 18, and my son looks forward to his 15 minutes of his workbook daily. Sometimes we miss a day due to other activities, but itâs no problem to catch up since each page only takes a few minutes of your day. Itâs keeping him encouraged and using his brain, rather than sitting and watching tv or playing on a tablet all day. Would recommend 100%, and plan on using for the upcoming school year.

Kids actually enjoy doing this
These were recommended by our teachers this year as a way to prepare for the next grade and stay sharp over summer. That is why I bought them. What I didnât expect is that the kids love them. They are quick enough to be engaging. They enjoy earning their sticker each day. The stickers are provided in the back. They also incorporate some fun activities like exercises or trivia. My kids actually look forward to their 15 minutes of doing this each day. I have to stop them before they roll onto the next dayâs page.

Great for summer practice
Love the options available for each day of work. My kids can sit down and do them on their own during quiet time. Perfect!

Great for Reviewing Skills in the Summer
I got this to review with my preschoolers transferring to kindergarten next year during summer vacation. This way they can have some extra practice reviewing skills they’ve learned throughout the year, so they will be ready to go when they get to kindergarten. I love how it covers an array of topics as well as the worksheets being easy enough to do in a short amount of time.

A workbook filled with age appropriate activities and lessons to enhance academic skills
This Pre K/K workbook is wonderful! It has age appropriate activities and lessons for 4 and 5 year olds! It includes vivid pictures and was a lot of fun for my son! I highly recommend this workbook especially for the summer to keep up with skills and academics.

Inexpensive workbooks that are fantastic for school breaks!
Fantastic workbook for pre-k children! I am using this book to prep my preschooler for kindergarten next year! It’s simple, quick, and colorful. My pre-writing 2 year old even loves to look at the pictures and talk about the numbers, letters, and objects we come across! My children are homeschooled and workbooks like this are important in my homeschool for school break learning. I love that the lessons are short so the kids don’t feel overwhelmed doing a lesson each day. It covers the important subjects. They are inexpensive (A+)! Whether you’re homeschooling your children and looking for something quick to keep the learning flowing or you are looking to bridge gaps over the summer with a child in a public school, I really believe these books are the way to go! I intend to get a couple of the higher levels to use during our vacation this Sept. for some of my older children. I wish they had even higher levels because I think even my middle and high school kids would benefit from these workbooks!

Fun summer workbook that I wish had activities for more days
While this workbook doesn’t have much more than basic preschool activity books have, I like that it’s divided into easy-to-conquer days. My son was happy to go over the checklist of milestones he should meet, and he loves being able to add a star each time he finishes a day. One thing I don’t like is that there are only 20-some days of workbook stuff, but the path to Kindergarten is 50-some days long, so then I have to make up activities for all the other days. But still, this is a good starter, and my son likes using it, so for $13, I think it’s worth it for someone else to have helped think through Kindergarten prep!

Pretty good.
This book is very well thought out for the most part and has a lot of good exercises for kids. However, there are a few things that I think are quite a bit above a Preschool to Kindergarten level. Not many kids (or adults for that matter) know what a rhombus is? It’s a shape that I don’t think any 4 or 5 year old is ever going to need to know. There are a few other lessons in it that I don’t think are pertinent to what a kid that young needs to know or will understand, but overall, this book is a very good way to move your child along. I would recommend it if you are willing to go along the lessons with the child and help explain things. It certainly is not something they can do on their own.
