Clean wash; Lovely Fresh Scent
I had been interested in trying this product. I have used Pacifica Wake-Up Mask and Eye Cream and so was familiar with the brand. I had an upcoming trip and did not have an appropriate cleanser size for the length of travel so I took the opportunity to buy this set. It is super cute and more affordable than just buying the large 5 ounce size locally from Whole Foods. I love that this set came with the travel and the larger home size. I normally use Murad Environmental Shield Essential C Cleanser. These two products are similar in that they are both gel cleansers with a citrus scent. The Murad Cleanser is clear and the Pacifica is a bright yellow orange color. There is a beet product in the ingredients so maybe that is the source of the color. I have not gotten it on anything that might show if it stains. The Murad cleanser has 5 citrus oils & a resin oil but many other synthetic ingredients. The Pacifica cleanser does not list any citrus oils but has citric acid. Pacifica notes this cleanser has AHAs for exfoliation. The Murad cleanser is described as more of the cleanse, repair, soften and moisturizing product. I used this product consistently 2x a day for @ 2 weeks. I do like it. As for brightening I did not notice, but I liked the way it cleansed. My face did not feel tight or dry. (I have combination 50 + skin). The scent lingers more than the Murad Cleanser. I went back to the Murad Cleanser after the trip intending to switch to the Pacifica when I finished it. Really I did not mean for this to be a comparison of the 2 but that is my reference point to evaluate this cleanser. I do like the product, the scent and the way it cleanses. Although I am not sure that I will switch to it completely as my sole daytime cleanser. I used different cleansers at night.

Really love these products especially the serum. I use it every day as a part of my regular skincare routine. It does smell good but is slightly sticky, however by the time I apply my moisturizer, that stickiness is all gone.

I’ve used a few different products from this brand. So far, their stuff seems to be really good qualityI’m rating this kit 3-stars because I don’t seem to notice the serum doing anything for me. (I ALMOST want to call it maybe gimmicky? I don’t know. Maybe it’s just me, and maybe that’s too critical)I really like the face wash. I wasn’t expecting it to be yellow, and it is bright yellow, not that there’s anything wrong with that. It smells nice, kind of lightly sweet. It says it’s an exfoliant, but it isn’t scratchy/scrubby at all. It rinses off really nicely too. I’ve had face washes that needed to be almost scrubbed off because they were so thick and sticky-ish, but this stuff rinses right off. It looks like a small tube in the picture, and it is, but a little seems to go a long way. I have sensitive/problem skin, and using it daily has caused me no problems at all – I would give the face wash 5-starsThe serum, as I said, I didn’t have any luck with. To be honest, I’m not exactly sure what it’s supposed to do. But it hasn’t done anything, so I guess it doesn’t matter anyway. But it DOES leave your face, not so much STICKY, but definitely TACKY – As in, if you touch your face after it dries, you’ll feel the serum tugging back. Also, if you put it around your eyes, you’ll feel it there when you blink, kind of like a thin layer of glue. The box did suggest mixing the serum into your usual moisturizer as an alternative method of using it, and that’s what I had to end up doing. The serum by itself just felt a little too ‘present’ on my face for my liking. Also, something settles at the bottle of the serum bottle (maybe you can see it in my before-and-after-shake pictures) And I have to vigorously shake the bottle for a good minute or two to get it mixed back up (This happens every time. But maybe it’s supposed to be that way?) – I don’t think I would give the serum more than 2-starsThe eye patches, which you get 1 pair of, seemed fine (I forgot to take a picture of them before I used them) I didn’t notice any change in my appearance after using them. But they kind of tingled and had a cooling effect, which made me think something must be happening. They stayed on really well too. They didn’t slip around or anything – I would rate them maybe 4-starsOverall, I liked this kit. But I won’t be buying the serum again, or the eye patches. I did go ahead and order a bigger tube of the face wash, though
