Excellent all around!
I was very surprised to find out that cursive script is no longer taught in public schools, at least in my state. I had sent a notecard to my 6 yr old niece and I found out that she had struggled to read it because I had written in script. So, when I saw these script cards, I knew who could use them! I am very impressed with the quality of these cards. They are sturdy and withstand the clunking around that small hands give them. The cards and pens store neatly in the included box. It was very easy to explain the set-up to a smaller child. The dry-erase pens are a brilliant idea! This allows for unlimited practice. I also like that the cards aren’t so small that the practice is unrealistic for small hands. There’s plenty of room on each card for a bigger “scrawl” as they practice, and this helps with not being too disappointed when the lines don’t exactly match up. Overall, this is a very nice set, and well worth the cost.

These are very sturdy, have a nice finish, and will last for years.
These cards are sturdy and have a nice finish, will do a good job in helping a child practice cursive. The pictures that correspond with the letters are actual photos, which is unusual for kids flash cards, so I’m not really liking that, but then, perhaps my grandson who is learning cursive will like the pictures. The set does not come with a wipe-off cloth. I’m content with these, for the whole point is to practice cursive, and these will show the child the proper way to write it. Four stars for not including a wipe-off cloth and for the images not appealing to the eye.

Cursive cards
I know these have a much lower age they start at (3+ is very broad) but I like them as a early finisher activity for the kiddos in my classroom. Our curriculum doesn’t push cursive writing anymore, but I like to have kids practice it for future use as well as understanding things I might write in cursive or classroom labels that are in cursive font (Schedule cards, calendar months, etc.) These are easy to utilize and durable. Can be used by multiple kids in a center since you have 26 of them (entire alphabet). Words aren’t too juvenile, so they are appropriate for kids in older grades as well. As someone else pointed out, the images on them are realistic and not cutesy and fun. This isn’t something I personally care about, but some kids wouldâI guess.

Extra large, durable cards! Beautifully designed!
This seems to be a great set for both beginners and advanced students who are learning letters and joining them together to create words. For beginners, the backside of each card has individual practice letters that are about 1.5 to 2 inches high, so pretty big! On the front side of the cards are beautiful photos of a word beginning with that letter with the word written underneath the image. Those words are smaller in font size so would be better for those who are more advanced. While those words themselves donât have dashed outlines, one could still trace over them if they wanted to. Or, thereâs two half size cards the student can use to freehand words or letters on their own. I personally love the aesthetics of this kit, and the quality alone is outstanding (super thick cardboard that feels indestructible!). Comes with alphabet cards (image and word on front, one letter on back), 3 dry erase pens with eraser tops, and two half size flash cards for practicing on, and everything neatly sits inside a sturdy box for storage.

Cursive writing Kitâ¦..
These cards are well made, sturdy and much thinker than card stock. The photos on the cards are bright and colorful. However, the design of the card and this entire kit, seems to be a lot for the small amount that is expected. On the back of the card is the upper and lower case of the first letter, that spells the picture, in cursive. The blank, white boards that accompany the set, are 2 pieces, each one half the size of the flash card. Also included are 3 dry erase markers of red, black and blue.Having only the first letter of the photo to copy, this is a very minimal way to learn to write one letter at a time. There are no words designed to learn, so the student doesnât learn how to connect letters, and write words in cursive. The writing board is very small. When a student is just beginning to learn cursive, the writing is large, and choppy. This boardâs small size is suitable for an advanced student in cursive, but not a beginner. In summary, this is a very simplistic writing practice, yet a lot of work went in to the deisign. It seems to be a mix of beginner and advanced, yet neither seems to fit what is expected with this kit.

Beautiful cards and a wonderful concept!
I got these for my son because cursive should be learned by everyone. Working in banking for so many years it was astounding how many kids/teens would âsignâ something by printing their name. Very easy to replicate, and not really the most professional looking thing there is. So my son will be learning cursive. These cards seem easy to follow and really well done. He is three, as the recommended age lists, but I would imagine that he is most likely to find them helpful a bit further down the road. Weâll add them to his preschool syllabus with one letter a week or every other week and go from there, but Iâm not sure if heâll get the concept down or not as he has full letter recognition already, but the handwriting is still something to be desired as it is.

Perfect for Reusable, Hands-On Learning at Home
These cursive flash cards have been a good addition to my grandchildren’s home schooling. We have a kindergartener, 3rd grader, and 4th grader and they all have been practicing on these since I got them. It just makes the learning cursive a little more fun being able to utilize the cards. The only negative thing is I wish they would have included words, so they can connect the letters. Overall still enjoyable learning experience for the grandkids.
