Fun project with extras
Our 7 year old granddaughter thought this was the perfect gift. She loved painting it and was super excited for the extras: glow-in-the-dark tattoos and magnetic space molds to paint. A great project for the price!

Great project for any age!
I bought six of these for my grandchildren; ages 7, 8, 23 and 24. We had a sleepover. I was so surprised when we opened the boxes. these were great and cheap. they each had two sets of paint for each cat and paint pallets with two brushes each. I would definitely recommend them. They were so inexpensive.

Great!
I recently got my hands on a paintable cat lamp, and it has turned out to be a delightful addition to my home decor! This lamp combines functionality with creativity, allowing you to express your artistic side while enhancing your space.First off, the design of the lamp is adorable. The cat shape is cute and whimsical, making it a perfect fit for a child’s room or any cat lover’s space. The lamp is made from a durable material that holds paint well, providing a smooth surface to work on. I used acrylic paints, and they adhered beautifully without any peeling or smudging.Once painted, the lamp casts a warm, cozy glow that creates a lovely ambiance in the room. What I particularly love is the creative freedom it offers. You can customize it to match your decor or let your imagination run wild with colors and patterns. Itâs a fun project for a rainy day, and it also makes for a unique gift.In summary, the paintable cat lamp is a fantastic blend of art and function. Itâs perfect for anyone looking to add a personal touch to their space while enjoying the process of creating something unique. Highly recommended for crafters and cat enthusiasts alike!

It’s OK I guess
It’s kind of small the pain is in those annoying to open containers the lights not that bright which I’d the intent is to male a printable likely it should be bigger. It uses those dumb button batteries that are a pain to find and cost too much. It can’t plug in. It could be better for the price. I’ve gotten camping lanterns that are rechargeable with better lights for less money. I’d say make it better or cut the price in half.

What an interesting idea! I really enjoyed completing this craft and I think children would as well. You can truly let your creativity shine on this project because even though it is a “moon” it doesn’t have to be painted that way. It’s really just a contoured sphere. I found the paints to be plentiful and a good texture. None of them were dried out or goopy. They’re also easy to clean up, which is a huge plus when children are involved. None of the colours stained my hands or the surface I was working on. There are enough colours (12) that I didn’t bother mixing any and the two paint brushes are good sizes for this project. The paint dries quickly enough – I was able to touch it about 30 minutes after painting. And, after leaving it to dry all night, I tried rinsing the globe under water to see if the paint came off and it did not. Once you’re done and it’s lit up, it’s cute and personalized. It offers a fair bit of light, even through the paint, and is probably a good level for a child’s bedroom. The box comes with NO instructions but I think it’s probably pretty self-explanatory from the name on the box. A diagram of the stand might be useful for some as there is no picture of it on the box and you have to put it together. Of note: the sponges suck up a lot of paint (as sponges do) so using those quickly depletes your supply. I used 3 of the sponges a total of 14 times and I used up all of the white paint.Overall, I was pleased with this craft and wouldn’t hesitate to give it to a creative child for their birthday.

I admit at first glance I was a little underwhelmed, as it’s kind of all just basic plastic and seems average quality. But I admit once I actually turned in on and saw it in the dark especially I fell in love. It looks so much more realistic than I expected and really is just so pretty to look at. I love this so much more than a normal bedside lamp. It’s east to use, just flick on and off at the bottom. I like that it came with batteries to start and so far they seem to be lasting a long time. So even though that is the slight downside of having to replace batteries, versus plugging it in, it also opens up a lot of possibilities for being able to use it and move it around without having to worry about a cord or being plugged in, which is actually helpful in a way, and as the batteries seem to last a while I don’t mind. The cute little painting kit it comes with is basic, but I think more than adequate for kids to have fun decorating. My daughter loved it so much as is, that right now she hasn’t wanted to plaint it. But I think the little set of items will be fun even just to use elsewhere or save to maybe use later for the lamp to change it up if she gets bored of it.Overall I think this is well worth is and very fun and would make a great gift.

5 out of 5 Stars (5)âââââ[TL;DR][QUALITY] (5/5)[VALUE] (5/5)[EASE OF USE] (5/5)[MET EXPECTATIONS] (5/5)[PACKAGING] (5/5)[REVIEW REMARKS]Although this kit is marketed for children, it really is suitable for any age group. I love the puppy design, and there are others in the series. With a complete project kit included, which includes a fine and wider brush, mixing palette, twelve (12) different colours, accent bling, and the puppy shaped lamp. This is perfect for an afternoon creative project, and there is enough paint and supplies to get the lamp finished with extra paint to spare. The puppy lamp is powered by button batteries and it emits a warm white colour. I would have preferred this to be rechargeable, or powered by a more readily available battery . Changing the batteries will require another order for the proper sized button batteries. Also, it you are working on this with children, those batteries are a choking hazard for kids, and pets, alike. So, a rechargeable solution would have been preferred. The paint does need to be applied in a uniform way. I found that if the paint was applied too thick, the light did not show through as well. The body of the lamp is more opaque than translucent, meaning the light does not illuminate through the lamp, making the areas with a thicker layer of paint with not be as vibrant when viewing in the dark. All in all, this is are really cool gift idea for the puppy lover in your life. They are able to decorate the puppy any way they choose. I think this style of painted lamp project would be really suitable for older adults, and it would be an activity that can be completed by a family. The end result is as good as you make it. The small puppy shaped lamp would be excellent as a night light, or a statuette in a washroom, or even a Livingroom. I would order this set again, perhaps in a different style, if available. I would order these as a gift, or as a project to be completed in a group. Very fun and a decent value for a customizable lamp. There are other variations of this with other animals, I would order this again, or another from the series.Recommended based on quality, completeness of the kit, age range, fun factor, and value. In the event that experiences change or evolve, updates may be made to this review to address such developments.

This is a super cute activity to do with children, ideal rainy day activity. You get everything a child will need to decorate whatever way they wish. It’s a shame it runs on batteries as I’m sure if this gets left on as a nightlight they they will forever be running out. Very nice activity overall.

A nice little activity that has everything you need to start it straight away and it’s a fun thing for a child to have in their room as a night light as soon as it’s dry.
