    Toddler brain unlocked
My toddler and I write in this nightly, it’s a great way to calm down our evening and hear his thoughts. He’s 3.5 so the grateful list is a work in progress but it opens up more insight to where his emotions are and what caused them, along with his favorite things.

A very NEEDED journal for 3–5-year-olds
What a wonderful and NEEDED journal for young children and their parents. It’s been behaviourally transformative for my 3.5-year-old son. We’re seeing how the habit of self-reflection and gratitude is positively shaping his behavior, which is incredibly rewarding as a parent.Consistent nightly gratitude practices have made it heartwarming to watch him recognize the good in our daily lives, resulting in fewer meltdowns and a happier little boy. The Journals simple use of guided imagery of facial expressions greatly improved my son’s ability to express his emotions, enhancing our communication and deepening our bond in ways I never imagined. For example, during a challenging dinner where he had a major meltdown, we later used the journal’s guided imagery where he circled the crying face image, later him revealing a distressing event I hadn’t known about, which explained his dinner fiasco, making me as a mother have more compassion to what’s going on internally in them. This bedtime journal has now becoming a NEEDED addition to our nightly routine. Its thoughtfully designed prompts are perfect for young children and only take about 5 minutes to complete, which is perfect for our sons’ short attention capabilities, while still allowing meaningful connection. For any parent looking to enrich their bedtime routine and enjoy quality time with their children, I highly recommend this bedtime journal.

    Wonderful resource
Purchased the bedtime journal for my grandchild, I think it is such an excellent tool and conversation starter, and an opportunity to open up dialogue with your child that perhaps you wouldn’t otherwise

    Lovely
“Gratitude Journal for Kids Ages 3-5” is an excellent interactive journal for the child and the parent. The author provides emoji faces for kids to express how they feel. I especially appreciated the smart and poignant prompts and questions. There is space for your child to practice recording their feelings of gratitude, which is an important practice in today’s world. In every journal entry, there is a positive message meant for the parent to speak to the child. Parents and children will love this insightful journal.

    We love it!
I wasn’t sure about a “gratitude” journal for my 4yo & 7yo because they are young and I see many adults struggle with a gratitude practice. But that’s a also why it’s been such a pleasant discovery to get them in routine at a young age. Both of my boys have autism so the simple things many kids their age are able to do are things they greatly struggle with. The past months, I’ve naturally started incorporating a moment of gratitude in the morning with them–telling them “I love you and I’m so grateful you are mine.” and my 4 year old will say it back in his own little language he speaks with. My 7yo is nonverbal and so when I say it to him, he nods his head puts his forehead out to me to kiss and that’s his way he tells me “I love you.” Incorporating this Gratitude Journal for Kids has now taken that simple practice to a deeper level of connection. And while they both still struggle with fine motor skills, they can communicate to me and I either write a simple answer or work with them to do so. It’s a really lovely journal & would make a great gift for others who have young kiddos. Thank You for this! 🙂

A heartwarming way to end the day with your little ones
This daily journal is designed perfectly for young children, with prompts that are just right for their age. It’s all about helping them develop self-awareness and a positive outlook, and it only takes three minutes before bedtime! The prompts are simple and engaging, making it easy for kids to reflect on what they’re thankful for. It’s amazing to see how quickly they start appreciating the little things in life. The journal also uses guided imagery of facial expressions to help kids understand and express their emotions better. It’s a fantastic way to build emotional intelligence early on. One of the best parts? This journal fosters a deeper bond between parents and kids. Each page becomes a chance for some meaningful interaction and quality time together. Plus, it’s a lovely addition to the bedtime routine, wrapping up the day on a positive note. If you want to nurture gratitude and positivity in your kids while strengthening your relationship with them, this journal is a wonderful choice. It’s quick, easy, and incredibly effective. Highly recommended for busy parents who want to instill lasting positive habits in their children!

This is the first journal i found that really was crafted for my 3 and 5 year old and been a game changer for me. These daily check ins have become a cherished part of our nightly routine. What i really love about this journal is how it blends the process of winding down my 3 and 5 year old for the night with an opportunity for emotional development and quality time together. I found the questions in the journal encourage self-reflection and kindness, and provide opportunity for teachable moments. Initially, my daughter was a bit puzzled by the concept of expressing gratitude, but with time, the practice fostered a more profound sense of happiness and contentment in her. In conclusion, bedtime is now a very cherished time for me and my kids. Anyone looking to enhance their Childs emotional development while also checking in with how they are feeling, this journal has been just that for me and my kids. Highly recommend.

I purchased this journal to do with my daughter as practicing gratitude in my life has helped me. She loves the cover and doing the prompts along with circling the emotions. I really like how it helps me as a parent guide the conversation to get to check in with their emotions. Plus love the last line in each day to say a positive affirmation to them to close the activity with them. Been a nice staple to our bedtime routine. Really happy with this purchase. Highly recommend!

I ordered this book as a gift for a new mom. I only wish that something like this was available when my kids were small! This is a great way to dedicate time each night to connect with your child, and to talk about their feelings in a way that is fun, while at the same time helping to develop insight and self awareness. This could be a nice calming bedtime ritual. Also love the suggested positive messages at the bottom of each page!

I bought two of these books for my nieces who recently had babies. Although they won’t use them for a few years, I think it’s a great resource for new parents…reading through the pages early on will keep the positive mindset front and center. I wish I had something like this when my kids were little.
