âMarriage ceremonies were generally absent in the ancient worldâ â Fun and odd facts!
New author Jordan Moore steps onto the Trivia stage with a nod to providing interesting reading material while passing the time at home, In this easy to read (and absorb) book, Jordan offers a cascade of facts that provide not only entertainment but also so educational topics!Providing an overview of the topics of interest in this book, Jordan outlines his content in the Introduction â âAs the title indicates, this book takes you on a fun-filled odyssey through just about every nook and cranny of this planet, and far beyond, to bring you 1,572 factoids that will make you scratch your head and give you some fodder to impress your friends and family at your next gatheringâ¦Maybe youâve wondered how some seemingly unmedical things, such as alligator dung, became medical prescriptions. Or perhaps youâve wondered how marriage became the institution it is today. And maybe youâve considered how crypto currency began, or how it worksâ¦â And if that tasty intro doesnât convince you to explore this fascinating book, add in facts about pop culture, sports facts about athletes, strange hobbies, meteorological facts, and even a few facts about weapons of warNot only is the book entertaining â it is also very instructive. Jordan presents his facts in categories, each fact is short in length and offers a check box to let you know youâve absorbed that one, and moves along at a pace that is entirely up to each reader. For those who are simply looking for solid entertaining reading to while away the hours, welcome to a field expert! Highly recommended â especially during these times⦠Grady Harp, July 22

a little light, but it delivers what it promises
I tend to read a lot heavier stuff than this, so it seemed a little too lightweight for me, though if you want a book of interesting facts, this one is a good one.The organization of facts is a clever move and all of them largely belong where they should so the book is neat this way, though sometimes the order does not quite flow from one chapter to the next or between clumps of facts within chapters.I much would’ve preferred a book with fewer subjects but the book gives you a lot of trivia and that is what it promises.Expect to learn a lot of interesting facts here, but don’t expect anything that will really make you think hard. This is a good book for inquisitive kids and teens though as most of the information put out in this book is very interesting and it will get people interested in lookinng at at least one of these subjects in more detail and with all that I see out there, something that makes someone excited to learn is a rare treasure and there needs to be more of these. 4 stars for being fun and useful, 1 star off for being a bit too light for my liking.

As someone well into their senior years who has been a voracious reader and seeker of knowledge for more than 7 decades, I am always seeking new, unique and interesting books to read. This is why while browsing on Amazon when I saw this 192-page soft cover volume (Interesting facts for curious minds: 1572 random but mind-blowing facts about history, science, pop culture, and everything in between by Jordan Moore) I decided to purchase this book. This is exactly the kind of book I truly love reading because it is filled with so many fascinating facts that keep you turning the pages. Each section has pages of specific facts about the topic. Some of these include the following: âThe wild world of is a dirty and funny business, musical instruments, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, manâs best friend, strange inventions, martial arts from around the world, politics almost rich and famous, urban myths facts, weapons of war, for all you cat lovers, till death do our part, incredible crime facts, space and beyondâ and numerous other unique topics. This is the kind of book you may want to keep for a reference source and to be used to play trivia games etc. I loved this book and if you love reading about unusual facts about a whole range of topics this is a book you may want to check out.Rating: 5 Stars. NOT for kids
NOT for kids. It was marketed in the kidsâ books list but mentions necrophilia and snorting the ashes of dead people.

A lot of facts are US related and not international. So might not be the perfect book if you want to have a broader fact base.
