Fine motor skills tool kit
I bought this game for my little boy with the intention of helping him develop his fine motor skills while having fun, and I am very satisfied with the purchase. It has an attractive design, is made of safe material, is educational and fun.

All of my kids love these! Great for sensory and gross motor
My son has some trouble with his fine motor skills and he was thrilled to play with this set as well as his 8 year old brother and 2 year old sister. The only thing my 2 year old couldn’t handle was the yellow squeeze tool because in order to open it you squeeze and scoop, then let go to close because it’s pressured shut. She could open it but can’t understand she has to let go to “capture” the rice inside it. She still had fun playing with it however. The tweezers were not hard to squeeze as one review I read said. The scissor grip tool is slightly less durable than the other tools so if your kids rough house with them then they might break but my kids are hard on things and it hasn’t broken yet. These are fun for them to use with their sensory bins/experiments and offers a nice variety of tools for children to use with various activities to strengthen their fine motor skills.

great kit, but it can be hard to use
This little set is wonderful for helping kids with their fine motor skills, but there are a couple things I dont love…The alligator tweezers are VERY hard to squeeze together. With most of these types of tweezers I have encountered, they are usually too flimsy- so its nice they are sturdy, but my 3 year old son cant use them… which defeats the purpose. Even for me they are difficult to use because they are very blunt on the end on top of the difficulty with squeezing them so they are not practical for picking up really anything in the sensory bins except maybe very large pom poms or something….also the scissor hold tongs with the ball on the end (sorry I have no idea what it is called) is made so that the half circles pop off the handle when my son pulls on them. They snap right back in place and work just like they did before, so that is great- but he likes to pull them off and then they can become a choking hazard for the baby or get lost if I am not paying close enough attention.Other wise, they are very sturdy and my son loves them. The yellow pinchers and the dropper are his favorite and work entirely as intended. This is a fun set for sensory bins and bath time. I would definitely recommend it. I do wish they would at least re-think the alligator tweezers and make them more child friendly though….

Very friendly and educational
Got this for my boys before they turned three. They had a harder time with some of them and did better with the tweezers. I love the colors and the fine motor stimulation they provide. The size is accurate. I used it for pompons, sand, picking small toys, colored water. They were easy to use and promote a lot of creative play

Broke during snow sensory play
Our first time using them was with some snow sensory play. One of the âcupsâ broke right off of the green-handled scooper thing.

Highly recommended for fine motor practice!
I bought this to help my daughter work on her fine motor skills. She struggles in this area, and her solution is to avoid fine motor activities-arghhh! I thought this would be a fun way to practice. Our early childhood teacher told us that the preschool teachers are seeing kids have difficulty in this area much more than ever before, so every little bit we can do helps. My daughter’s favorite “tool” from this set is the orange squiggle one with the blue squeeze top; she loves filling it up with water in the bathtub and squirting us (oh joy!) or rinsing off her tub animals. I have been encouraging her to use the yellow tongs when she plays in the rice bin, and I’ll hide small rocks or toys in the bin so she can scoop them out. I’d like to use the orange alligator tool for that same purpose, but she struggles with that tool the most, so I’m not pushing it yet. We are making some progress with the “scissors” tool, and I’m hoping that will help her get used to that hand positioning as she transitions to scissors for preschool and beyond. Overall, this is a great set that encourages fun while helping with fine motor skills. My daughter is tough on her tools/toys because she doesn’t know how much force to use, but these tools are all intact after three months of use. Great product!
