My grandsons’, 10 and 12, are super accomplished at lego building and have been doing kits for years. I bought this one for a birthday knowing that it may be considered too babyish, but the dogs looked so cute, and my one grandson likes “cute” animals. Upon unwrapping I asked him to rate the present on a scale of 1 to10 and he gave it a 7. But as the afternoon progressed I noticed both boys, plus a friend, were making it and liking it. The dogs have dog bowls with kibble and little toys. You can make three dogs and then remake them into three different dogs. Clever and well worth the price.

Cute but a bit too easy
Granddaughter asked for these and enjoyed putting them together but overall Iâd say they were really geared for 5-6 as they were a bit too easy and were finished way too fast. She is 7.
