Great for Teaching Littles About Being Safe
I picked up this “”Safety Squad”” book for my 4-year-old nephew after he started asking lots of questions about things like crossing the street and stranger danger. The colorful illustrations and simple language make it perfect for his age.The book covers all the major safety topics like fire drills, calling 911, bike helmets, and not wandering off from grownups. My favorite part is how it puts the lessons in a fun story format with a squad of animal characters, rather than just listing rules. It makes the ideas stick better in his little brain.One cool detail is that it comes with stickers to reward kids after they’ve learned each chapter. Jayden loves putting them on the chart at the back. The only thing I’d change is having a section on online safety too since kids are around tech so young these days.Overall, it’s a well-designed book that makes learning about serious subjects engaging for preschoolers. The length is perfect for Jayden’s short attention span. I appreciated the positive reinforcement approach too. Much better than just scaring kids with worst-case scenarios! A must for any family with young children.

Very simple book
The illustrations in this book are great for kids, very colorful and eye-catching. The pages also fold out and expand, which kids love doing. The problem is that the text itself is very simple. It’s not that this is a terrible book, but if your little one wants to know the why behind safety rules, you’re going to have to do a lot of ad-libbing. For me that’s not a huge issue, but if you’re someone who likes to read books as is, and not into adding a lot of context yourself, you’ll probably want to pass on this one.

Great safety book
This board book is ideal for toddlers and comes with stickers and a pair of little glasses that serve as a superhero mask, tucked away in a pocket at the front. Inside, you’ll find five safety scenarios. Three of these scenarios guide your child on what to do in specific situations, while the other two highlight what to avoid. I personally wish the entire book focused on directives, as they tend to resonate better with kids, and I would have liked it to be a bit longer. However, overall, it’s a great, straightforward safety book for little ones.

Engaging and colorful!
This is a sturdy board book with lift the flap pages. It is engaging and colorful. The safety concepts that it teaches preschoolers are fundamental, and are presented in a way that they will remember. Highly recommend for school and home!

Cute safety book
This book is super cute! It’s a board book, perfect for toddlers and includes stickers and little glasses as a super hero mask in a pocket in the front of the book. The rest of the book is a series of 5 safety scenarios. 3 of the 5 scenarios tell your child what to do in a given situation but the other two say what never to do. I wish the whole book was directives instead because they generally work well on children and I wish it was a bit longer but all in all it’s a really nice, basic safety book for toddlers
